Responsibilities
Providing strategic guidance on EDI initiatives across the business
Partnering with the executive leadership team to communicate EDI updates and progress

Identifying and creating opportunities for employees from inequity experiencing groups
Leading large scale projects across multiple business functions
Requirements
5-7 years of Employee Impact experience, ideally within HR for the retail sector or a similar industry.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. Psychology, HR, Business) or equivalent experience.
Expertise in EDI and respect for Truth and Reconciliation.
Understanding of EDI best practices, Human Rights, Employment Equity legislation, and relevant legal principles.
Post secondary training in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) with additional education in Indigenous Cultural Training.
Proven ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of the business.
Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand business strategy and connect it to people strategy.
Demonstrated coaching skills and experience in providing strategic guidance across all levels of leadership.
Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive outcomes that support individuals, teams, and the business.
