Inside Sales Representative driving growth initiatives for Velcro Companies' Industrial and affiliated categories. Managing customer inquiries, quotes, and collaborating across departments.
Responsibilities
Support growth initiatives for the Industrial business through proactive communication with end users, converters, distributors, and prospects.
Drive internal follow-up for line extensions, pricing inquiries, and miscellaneous topics by networking and pushing internal stakeholders for deliverables.
Supports team achievement of established sales quota and profit, and new business objectives/targets.
Research answers independently by collaborating internally with R&D, Product Management, Compliance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
Manage and qualify incoming leads and customer inquiries; ensure timely follow-up and effective hand-off to appropriate Sales or Business Development resources as needed.
Prepare and support customer quotations, pricing requests, and documentation related to new or existing business.
Assist with customer notifications, pricing updates, and product transitions.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
Participate in regular team meetings to align with sales strategy, pipeline, and customer feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Experience in inside sales, customer support, or technical sales environment (industrial or manufacturing experience a plus).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated initiative and ownership.
Has the ability to "find answers" rather than hand over unanswered questions.
Comfortable networking across departments and collaborating with technical and commercial colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Some travel including overnight may be required.
