This is a hybrid position based out of our Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN or our IoT Innovation Center in Appleton, WI
Reporting directly to the Director of Things Engineering
Fully remote teammates will be considered in certain circumstances
Requirements
Familiarity with embedded languages and OS such as C, C++, C#, Rust, Go, and Java, Zephyr OS, FreeRTOS, and Yocto Linux
Familiarity with embedded operating systems such as Zephyr OS, Yocto Linux, and FreeRTOS
Familiarity with embedded IoT technologies such as STMicroelectronics, Espressif, and NXP technologies; Azure Sphere, IoT Edge, and Hub; and Edge X
Familiarity with version control, agile planning tools, and peer review such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, and Git.
Experience with development and troubleshooting on embedded targets, including familiarity with hardware design, schematics, and PCB layout
Knowledge of various protocols, interfaces, hardware, and wireless subsystems such as serial communications, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, and IP
