Manage contract negotiation, approvals, amendments, and bid/RFP responses for Labcorp DNA Identification. Coordinate stakeholders, track documents in iCertis, and support legal and pricing approvals.
Responsibilities
Work closely with internal stakeholders including account management, customer service, IT, legal/compliance, lab management, human resources, risk management and scientific team leaders in negotiation of contracts and development and writing of competitive bid/RFP proposals
Coordinate legal approval of new and renewed contracts, amendments, addenda, statements of work, Bid/RFP releases and responses, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, pricing letters and quotes
Identify and review new/existing bid and RFP opportunities via various state and government websites
Ensure contracts submitted for legal review have senior management and financial approval and that business issues and approved pricing are addressed
Coordinate conference calls and WebEx meetings between key stakeholders
Assist coordination with other departments on matters related to contracts and bid responses and prepare responses to customer correspondence and other requests
Track all contract documents submitted via iCertis and maintain electronic files of all DNA Identification bid proposals and agreements
Conduct research and provide accurate data based on requests and follow up with involved parties to ensure timely client responses
Act as backup to other Contract Administrators when needed
Requirements
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
Prefer an Associate’s Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
Prior experience coordinating legal approval of contracts, amendments, addenda, statements of work, Bid/RFP releases and responses, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, pricing letters and quotes strongly preferred
Prior experience identifying and reviewing bid and RFP opportunities via various state and government websites strongly preferred
Previous experience within DNA Identity or LES Labcorp Employer Services divisions strongly preferred
Experience drafting contractual and other business correspondence preferred
Intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook preferred
Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and prioritize assignments preferred
