Account Manager for ADTRAN Sales in DACH region. Responsible for building customer relationships and managing sales processes in telecommunications sector.
Responsibilities
Independently identify, approach, and acquire new customers in the Access/Metro segment.
Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Analyze customer needs and develop tailored solution proposals in collaboration with the technical team.
Conduct technical introduction meetings and product presentations.
Commercial handling of tenders and proposal processes.
Participate in trade fairs, industry events, and networking activities.
Perform market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
Work closely with the DACH team and provide regular reporting to management.
Oversee the operational sales process from planning through reporting.
Achieve the revenue and business targets set for the region.
Requirements
Completed degree in a technical or business discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in telecommunications, network engineering, or related infrastructure areas.
Strong technical understanding — preferably in telecommunications/network technology.
Customer-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for proactive, goal-driven customer engagement.
Independent, results-oriented work style, a strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills, plus presentation, communication, and sales abilities.
Basic knowledge of Salesforce or alternative CRM platforms.
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel.
