About the role
- Lead Product Designer at Zip Security transforming complex workflows into user-friendly designs. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape impactful security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design for key areas of the Zip Security platform, from discovery through execution.
- Translate complex security and IT workflows into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape solutions, priorities, and product direction.
- Use research, data, and customer insights to inform design decisions and advocate for strong user outcomes.
- Maintain a high bar for design quality across UX, interaction design, and visual execution.
- Contribute to design systems, patterns, and standards as the product scales.
- Mentor other designers through feedback, collaboration, and design critiques.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showing strong product thinking and end-to-end ownership.
- You’ve worked on complex products, ideally in B2B or enterprise environments.
- You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and turning fuzzy problems into clear solutions.
- You balance thoughtful UX with strong execution and attention to detail.
- You communicate clearly and collaborate well with cross-functional partners.
- Bonus: Experience with security, IT, or highly technical products.
