Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing the monthly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS.
Coordinate intercompany reconciliations within the ZEIT Verlagsgruppe.
Develop and implement group-wide accounting standards.
Prepare accurate reports and detailed analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Work closely with colleagues in Accounting, Controlling and the subsidiaries.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in group accounting or group consolidation.
Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS.
Strong understanding of group structures and modern accounting principles.
Proficient in SAP and common accounting/financial software.
