Payroll Service Delivery Manager serving as primary liaison for German clients at Zalaris. Managing payroll processes and client relationships while driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and high-quality service delivery.
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual SLAs by monitoring, reporting and analysing KPIs related to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Own service-related finances for your clients, including budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking.
Efficiently manage change-request implementation processes by coordinating testing, deployments and system enhancements within the payroll platform.
Ensure compliance with Zalaris’ internal policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
Proactively lead automation initiatives (e.g., RPA), transition activities between nearshore/offshore teams and identify additional opportunities for cost optimisation.
Promote close collaboration with other Zalaris functions and locations to support integrated service delivery.
Requirements
Deep understanding of German payroll (required)
Strong German language skills and communicative English (required)
Experience in an outsourcing company within HR, payroll or accounting
Professional experience with SAP HCM is an advantage
Commercial awareness and analytical thinking
Ability to plan, prioritise and structure work to deliver results
Strong customer relationship management and process improvement skills
Excellent problem-solving, presentation and negotiation skills
Proactive, energetic and adaptable attitude
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
