About the role
- Designated Person for Investment Management Oversight at WisdomTree overseeing delegated investment management and distribution for Irish-domiciled funds. Responsible for regulatory compliance and supervision of activities.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Designated Person for Investment Management Oversight (PCF-39D)
- Supervise delegated investment management and distribution activities for WisdomTree’s Irish-domiciled funds
- Conduct regular engagement with delegated investment managers and distributors
- Ensure compliance with investment objectives and regulatory requirements
- Produce oversight reports and maintain management information to support effective oversight
- Support the appointment and onboarding of new investment managers and distributors
- Act as a key point of contact with the Central Bank of Ireland on oversight matters
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience in the asset management or funds industry
- Strong understanding of delegated investment management models, distribution and product governance frameworks and UCITS / MiFID II regulatory requirements
- Experience engaging with investment managers, distributors and senior management and boards
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline and/or a recognised professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to exercise independent and effective challenge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple oversight responsibilities within a regulated environment
