Responsibilities
Expand and retain a portfolio of high-value customer relationships within Wiley's Publishing and Audience Solutions divisions
Execute strategies to grow Publishing Solutions partnerships and retain existing business
Drive strategic revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand current customer adoption of Wiley's publishing software, consulting, and services
Maintain responsibility for successfully renewing existing business across Publishing Solutions products, services, and offerings
Implement systematic approaches to account growth and retention developed by the Key Account Management Director
Develop comprehensive account plans for portfolio of accounts that align with both customer needs and Wiley's business objectives
Meet performance metrics, and signing and revenue targets, as defined by the Key Account Management Director and VP, Business Growth & Development
Collaborate regularly with Partner Success, Partner Operations, Product, Technology, and Delivery teams to ensure customer needs are met and to influence product roadmap decisions based on customer feedback and market opportunities
Look for areas, via cross- and upsell opportunities, to expand our offerings to customers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in business development or account management in publishing or content tech
Proven track record of closing $100k–$1m deals and meeting revenue goals
Deep knowledge of publishing industry trends and digital transformation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong industry network
Familiarity with digital content platforms and publishing technologies
Experience in Advanced Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills; solid grasp of publishing software
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to meet objectives
Willingness to travel as required
Strong interpersonal abilities with customers and colleagues, both virtually and in person
