About the role
- SRO Engineer supporting nuclear operations at Westinghouse in Cranberry Township, PA. Working on reactor control procedures and providing critical support in control rooms.
Responsibilities
- As an SRO Engineer, Nuclear Operations you will report to a Supervisor and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location, with a hybrid work schedule.
- You will acquire knowledge about integrated plant operations to develop the way control room operators run plants with operating procedures.
- You will work with professionals in the industry who will teach you the technical and professional aspects of working in the nuclear industry.
- You will also design new incore instrumentation, developing our testing equipment, completing test preparation and reporting.
- In the field, you will support utility reactor operators by performing critical activities in their control rooms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Candidates with a Reactor Operator license at a university reactor are encouraged to apply.
- US Citizen or permanent resident only
- Ability to obtain unescorted site access to customer sites which requires compliance with industry fitness-for-duty standards and participation in Westinghouse's behavioral observation program.
