Responsibilities
Develop deployment strategies for distributed PLC-based controls using Rockwell and Siemens architecture
Deploy a database-based system for the configuration management of field-mounted instrumentation.
Support recruiting efforts for new talent including interns/co-ops and engineers.
Identify engineering priorities by assessing determining project goals, execution time, and implementation costs.
Ensure best practices, lessons learned, and improvement are achieved in project performance and margins
Help develop next generation of engineers to ensure future WEC bench strength.
Support development and mentoring of the team to aid in their technical development, project performance and work satisfaction.
Engage with external customers, partners and WEC senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent with military and/or business experience.
Minimum 10 years of strong and progressively more responsible leadership experience required.
Effective oral and written communication with internal and external customers and engineering groups.
Ability to gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.
Excellent team building skills with the ability to engage with all partners.
