Segment Manager Automotive responsible for strategic development in the automotive sector for WEISS. Collaborating closely with national and European sales teams to expand customer base and market presence.
Responsibilities
Further development of the automotive industry segment / Body-in-White (BiW)
Management and expansion of business relationships with OEMs, line builders and Tier-1 suppliers
Identification and acquisition of new target customers in Germany and across Europe
Development of customer-specific system solutions in the field of automation
Technical point of contact for the sales team across the EMEA region
Provide input for product improvements and new applications
Requirements
Technician or degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, drive technology or automation engineering
Several years of experience in automation or in machinery/plant engineering
Experience working with customers from the automotive industry is an advantage
Technical understanding of system solutions
Good spoken and written English
Willingness to undertake domestic and international business travel
