About the role
- Fullstack Shopify Developer focusing on complex custom app development and technical architecture solutions. Collaborating with clients in the DACH region within a dynamic agency team.
Responsibilities
- Development of complex Shopify solutions: custom apps, public apps, integrations, APIs, GraphQL, and Liquid
- Independently design technical architectures — you think from the customer’s perspective, not just the code
- Act as Technical Project Lead (TPV) in client projects
- Close collaboration with Marcel (CTO) as a sparring partner and mentor
- Active, proficient use of AI tools in everyday development (not a nice-to-have, but standard)
- Continuous improvement of our technical standards and internal processes
Requirements
- More than 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development
- Proven experience developing Shopify custom apps and/or public apps
- Knowledge of Shopify custom & public apps (Node.js / React)
- REST and GraphQL APIs as well as complex system integrations
- Shopify Liquid and frontend development
- Technical architecture mindset — you see the overall system, not just the code
- Proficient with AI coding tools such as Cursor
- Independent and solution-oriented — you come with answers, not problems
- Able to dive deep into unfamiliar topics and find your own solutions
- Structured, quality-conscious working style
