Sales Manager overseeing Start Up and SMB Account Management for EMEA at Vanta. Leading a team to enhance retention and growth strategies for customer accounts.
Responsibilities
Build and implement the strategy for our Start Up & SMB customer base for regions across EMEA
Manage and mentor a growing team of 8 high performing Account Managers providing them with the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results for the business.
Evolve Vanta’s expansion and renewal sales playbook by developing and implementing new sales initiatives and strategies that will boost our GDR and NRR.
Grow the Account Management team through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Account Managers.
Create and establish sales training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor your direct reports on strategies that will help them better retain and grow their customer accounts.
Help to continually foster an inclusive Account Management organization, representing Vanta’s culture and principals.
Ensure development plans are in place, adapted to each individual, and made useful in a way that ensures the ongoing development of talent within the organization.
Collaborate cross functionally to drive better outcomes for Vanta’s prospects and customers’ that have headquarters within EMEA.
Partner with sales and CS leadership on creating an agile organization that believes in using decision frameworks to inform strategic direction but also isn’t afraid to launch, iterate, and redo in order to get the job done.
Requirements
Have 1-2 years people management experience working in B2B Saas plus 3 years in tech solution selling/closing role
You will have a background in selling using a solution selling methodology (e.g. Sandler, SPIN, etc.)
Demonstrate a strong track record of:
Using data to inform decisions and strategy
Developing talent and helping people achieve their career goals
High emotional intelligence and track record of inspiring teams to a common goal
Coaching sellers to a solution sales methodology
Have experience managing and scaling teams that sell multiple products into multiple personas
Thrive working in a fast-paced high-volume environment, and enjoy the challenge of making a large impact in a start-up environment
Possess the technical competency to understand Vanta’s software, and the intellectual curiosity to want to learn about the world of governance, risk and compliance.
