About the role

  • Project Manager in North American Infrastructure Operations at Valmont. Directs complex projects ensuring quality, scope, and customer satisfaction through effective team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct project teams and run multiple large complex projects from inception to completion
  • Directing and coordinating all resources throughout the lifecycle of the projects
  • Achieve predetermined objectives of scope, quality, time, cost, and customer satisfaction
  • Daily coordination of all aspects of the project
  • Act as the communications link between the project teams and Program Leaders
  • Completing projects with accuracy while monitoring project performance
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables
  • Technical and analytical guidance to project team
  • Produce program-level status reports working with Program Manager North American Operations

Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in Project Management or Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience in Project Management
  • Required Travel – 40%, can fluctuate depending on Project load
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and concepts
  • Displays strong organizational, critical thinking, and team building skills
  • Proficient in managing all aspects of the project management life cycle
  • Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change
  • Working knowledge of computer software (MS Office, MS Teams, MS Project)
  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
