About the role

• Team lead for accounting at Uniplan, ensuring financial compliance for projects and continuous process development. Overseeing all accounting processes with operational involvement in bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• You will lead our accounting team and ensure that our projects are recorded in compliance with financial regulations.
• You will maintain oversight of all accounting processes and continuously develop them together with your team.
• You are responsible for proper accounting in accordance with commercial and tax law requirements — from accounts payable and receivable to cash accounting and dunning procedures.
• You will coordinate invoicing, review incoming and outgoing payments, and serve as the central contact for internal departments, external service providers, partners, insurers, as well as auditors and tax advisors.
• In addition, you are responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and will be in regular contact with the finance departments of our international offices.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting / finance, ideally in project-based business
• Initial practical leadership experience
• Confident user of MS Office and a strong affinity for ERP systems (ideally experience with Deltek Workbook)
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and the ability to maintain an overview even during dynamic project phases
• Strong communication skills, team orientation and a high sense of responsibility
• Very good German and English skills
