Responsibilities
Ensure the application of accounting, tax and regulatory rules (French standards and IFRS) for all entities
Coordinate the recording and control of accounting data
Manage monthly analytical reviews and oversee closing checklists, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines
Lead the consolidation process for the Group’s entities
Produce statutory financial information (notes to the accounts, tax filings, forecast documents)
Oversee Group reporting to reduce the production time for financial statements
Manage relationships with consulting firms, local certified accountants and Statutory Auditors
Ensure Group tax compliance in coordination with external advisors
Manage disbursements and receipts, monitor cash indicators and contribute to cash forecasting
Manage banking relationships, perform analyses and currency conversions
Collaborate closely with the FP&A team with a focus on continuous improvement
Transform the Finance function by leveraging AI assistants to optimize tools and models
Maintain continuous regulatory monitoring
Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Management, ideally holding the DSCG or DEC (French advanced accounting qualifications)
Minimum 5 years’ experience, including time in an audit/accounting firm and/or accounting management experience in a startup/scale-up
Strong expertise in accounting techniques, consolidation and IFRS
Advanced Excel skills and experience with one or more ERPs (NetSuite is a plus)
Rigour, responsiveness, a structured approach and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
Professional working proficiency in both English and French required
