Responsibilities
Ongoing bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts)
Review, coding and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
Bank and cash postings and account reconciliations
Preparation of month-end and year-end closings
Preparation of documents for the tax advisor
Travel and expense claim processing
Maintenance and improvement of internal accounting processes
Optional – Payroll: Preparation and processing of the monthly payroll
Maintenance of employee master data
Communication with health insurance providers, authorities and the tax advisor
Support with personnel-related payroll queries
Requirements
Completed commercial training, further training in accounting or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in financial accounting
Confident use of DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
Structured, independent and reliable working style
Discretion and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
Good German language skills, spoken and written
Nice to have: Experience in payroll accounting
Nice to have: Experience with digital, paperless accounting processes
