About the role
- Senior Accountant managing financial operations and team at Liebherr-Mining Equipment, ensuring compliance and optimizing cash management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise and develop a team of 10 people.
- Support each team member in improving their daily tasks.
- Oversee all accounting operations up to the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with French accounting standards and international standards (IFRS).
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings within deadlines, while contributing actively as a working partner and operational participant.
- Ensure tax and social compliance (VAT, tax returns, social declarations, etc.).
- In close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, monitor, analyze and optimize cash management, ensuring rigorous cash forecasting and identifying improvement levers.
- Act, alongside the Chief Financial Officer, as the primary contact for statutory auditors, auditors and external partners.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and propose optimizations for our tools.
- Lead projects for automation and digitalization of financial tools, the structuring of the finance function, and implementation of the e-invoicing reform.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in accounting/finance (DSCG, Master CCA, business school, etc.)
- Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, including at least 5 years of team management
- Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and IFRS
- Proven experience in a structured industrial environment, within a mid-sized manufacturing company
- Rigor, autonomy, analytical mindset and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and team management abilities
- Advanced proficiency with accounting and financial tools (ERP, advanced Excel, e-invoicing/digitalization tools)
- Very good command of English.
