About the role
- Sr Engineer at T-Mobile developing architecture strategies for virtualization and platform infrastructure. Leading design and delivery of engineering solutions across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex virtualization and platform architecture strategies to enhance technology infrastructure
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to clearly communicate platform designs, Kubernetes-based virtualization concepts, and operational standards
- Evaluate and interpret platform metrics, testing outcomes, and workload performance to inform architecture improvements and technology adoption
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement engineering solutions across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware platforms that meet business requirements
- Contribute to the design and operationalization of OpenShift Virtualization, including VM lifecycle management and platform integration (compute, storage, networking)
- Mentor and support the development of associate engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering or related field
- 5+ Years Technical engineering experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
