Head of Sales in Defence responsible for market entry and portfolio development. Leading sales strategies and building key partnerships in the Defence sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for the Defence area and successfully launch offerings
Build a robust sales funnel and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract closing
Develop commercially viable proposals based on our consulting expertise (including Operations, Logistics & SCM, digitalisation) and position TMG as a reliable partner
Identify and pursue relevant tenders while taking regulatory frameworks into account
Establish and maintain key client relationships (e.g., OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers) and develop partnerships within the Defence ecosystem
Work closely with our directors and CC leaders, including refining the service portfolio for the Defence market
Requirements
Excellent degree in a technical or business-related field, ideally with an MBA or PhD
Several years of proven, successful sales experience in the Defence environment
Strong network with Defence OEMs and systems integrators and familiarity with decision-making and procurement processes
Background in consulting with a solid understanding of production/manufacturing
Strong communication skills in German and English
