About the role

  • Business Development Manager driving business growth in Greater China for ABRSM, a global music education charity. Responsible for developing strategies and managing partnerships across East Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development across Greater China
  • Set up and manage an authorised agent network in Mainland China
  • Cultivate and strengthen key business relationships across East Asia
  • Contribute to the expansion into new markets and innovative products
  • Provide actionable market intelligence to ABRSM management

Requirements

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Development
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies
  • Experience with establishing and managing a high‑performing agent network
  • Strong financial and operational oversight capabilities
  • Ability to analyze market opportunities and provide actionable intelligence
  • Proven experience in sales forecasting and pricing strategy
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or required work authorization.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
