About the role

  • Assistant Director of Recruiting for The Indigo Road Hospitality Group managing talent acquisition and recruitment strategies across hospitality industry. Balancing strategic and operational recruiting functions while enhancing candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of company-wide recruiting strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for select roles across corporate and field operations.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensure all roles are marketed effectively across job boards, social platforms, and internal channels.
  • Champion a best-in-class candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
  • Ensure consistent communication, timely follow-ups, and thoughtful candidate engagement.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s employer brand across all recruiting touchpoints.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for recruiting agencies and external partners.
  • Ensure agency submissions meet company vetting standards and submission requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for high-priority and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in candidate data, notes, and hiring workflows.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, etc.) and provide insights.
  • Support and mentor junior recruiters or hiring managers in best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations leadership to forecast hiring needs.
  • Assist in developing recruiting tools, resources, and training materials.

Requirements

  • 3-6+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit environments.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and job boards (e.g., Indeed, Hireology, LinkedIn).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
