About the role
- DevOps Engineer managing CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments for a software platform analyzing audio, text, and image files. Hands-on expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Linux systems is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying application components
- Set up, configure, and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments and streamline configuration management
- Implement GitOps workflows to ensure reliable, version-controlled deployments
- Manage virtualized infrastructure for on-premise and hybrid environments
- Monitor system performance, resource usage, and ensure high availability of deployed applications
- Work with developers and QA engineers to optimize build, release, and deployment cycles
- Ensure security, compliance, and scalability of infrastructure within both connected and air-gapped systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in networking, deployment, or runtime environments
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, deployment procedures, and operational best practices
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong expertise in Linux-based systems and shell scripting
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, VirtualBox, or KVM)
- Strong knowledge of computer networks – TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancing
- Experience implementing GitOps using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or similar
- Experience working in air-gapped or restricted network environments is a strong plus
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Understanding of cloud and on-premise hybrid deployment architectures
