About the role
- Dev Ops Engineer responsible for managing applications and databases, and supporting customer IT transformation into cloud technologies at DATAGROUP. Collaborating with a team in an innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- You administer and operate applications, databases, middleware, interfaces, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters, and you embrace every challenge
- You support our customers in transforming their IT landscapes to container and cloud technologies
- You continuously develop your skills and stay up to date with common cloud technologies
- You actively collaborate with colleagues in a team and tackle daily tasks together
Requirements
- You are proficient with Linux at the command line, file system, log files, etc.
- You are comfortable working with (scripting) languages such as Bash and Python
- You have initial experience operating systems in virtualized/containerized environments (Docker, containerization, etc.)
- You are open to cloud technologies
- Ideally, you have experience with some of the following technologies: PostgreSQL, Dockerfiles, Kubernetes manifests, Ansible, Helm, Terraform, Git
- You speak very good German and can communicate well in English
