About the role
- Junior Project Manager focusing on Obsolescence Management in a global engineering environment. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support complex industry projects from Kiel, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess the requirements assigned to you in Obsolescence Management (OM) and support their implementation in the OM plan.
- Maintain and update OM plans and manage status overviews and risk registers.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of project-specific OM reports.
- Contribute to the creation of obsolescence alerts and mitigation solutions.
- Participate in OM-relevant meetings and present your results to the project team.
- Manage and monitor the OM interfaces with subcontractors (UAN).
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, initial process and method knowledge in Obsolescence Management for complex products.
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary project teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a confident command of both German and English.
- High sense of responsibility, structured working style and the ability to maintain an overview even under challenging project conditions.
- Proactive and cooperative attitude in an intercultural environment.
- Confident user of the MS Office suite.
