About the role
- Junior Consultant in System Integration for railway technology, working on critical rail infrastructure in Vienna. Collaborating with experts and clients on complex integrative projects.
Responsibilities
- Mitarbeit in Systemintegrationsprojekten im Bahnumfeld, insbesondere in den Bereichen Leit- und Sicherungstechnik, Telekommunikation, Zugbeeinflussung und angrenzende IT/IKT-Systeme
- Analyse und Integration von bestehenden Bahnsystemen sowie Neusystemen in komplexen Systemlandschaften
- Technische Koordination und Abstimmung von Subsystemen und Schnittstellen (z. B. zwischen Stellwerken, ETCS-Komponenten, Betriebsleitsystemen, Telekommunikations- und IT-Systemen)
- Unterstützung im Requirements Engineering mit Fokus auf System- und Schnittstellenanforderungen
- Mitarbeit bei System-, Integrations- und Abnahmetests inkl. Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Dokumentation
- Unterstützung bei Migrationen, Erweiterungen und Systemumstellungen im laufenden Bahnbetrieb
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden (z. B. Infrastrukturbetreibern), Systemherstellern, Lieferanten, Behörden und internen Projektteams
- Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen (Analyse, Integrationskonzepte, Schnittstellenbeschreibungen, Test-Unterlagen, Risikobewertungen)
- Technische Unterstützung von Projekt- und Teilprojektleitungen in Kundenprojekten
Requirements
- Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung (FH/HTL/Universität) mit Schwerpunkt Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik, Bahntechnik, Informationstechnik, Informatik oder vergleichbar
- Idealerweise erste Erfahrungen mit Projekten im Bahnumfeld insbesondere der Leit- und Sicherungstechnik bzw. Telekommunikations- / Informationstechnik
- Strukturierte, analytische Arbeitsweise sowie ausgeprägtes Systemverständnis
- Sehr gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten im Umgang mit Kunden, Partnern und Projektteams
- Selbstständige und verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Projektbezogene Reisebereitschaft
