About the role
- BIM Consultant responsible for CAD user training and software development at ROM locations in Germany. Focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of training sessions and workshops for our CAD users
- Further development of CAD software
- Advising and supporting our CAD users/project teams in implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) in their projects
- Development of BIM strategies, standards and workflows
- Monitoring and controlling BIM implementation, including quality assurance of models, standards and data management
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of BIM trends, technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Completed vocational/technical training or a university degree
- Experience in model-based planning and CAD modeling
- Ideally proficient in MicroStation / CARF, Revit or similar CAD/BIM software
- Expertise in digital processes within the BIM methodology
- Communication and presentation skills to explain complex topics clearly
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent German skills, both written and spoken
