Responsibilities
Design and implementation of new and customer-specific network services
Development of holistic end-to-end service architectures
Analysis of new technologies and trends; further development of the service portfolio in coordination with product management
Ensuring service quality through standards, KPIs, onboarding and continuous process optimization
Technical after-sales consulting including proof of concepts (PoCs); close collaboration with Presales and Service Operations
Project management in the Connect area including handover to the service organization (training, documentation, quality controls)
Management of change processes; escalation and quality management
Definition and introduction of a unified service reporting standard; monthly reports and service meetings at C-level
Building and maintaining strategic customer relationships; sales support through presentations and technical expertise
Support for requirements arising from data protection, ISO 9001/27001 and BSI
Leadership, development and expansion of the Solution Consulting team
Travel within the DACH region
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field; experience in optical networks, network services or service architectures
At least 3 years of successful functional leadership of employees
Experience designing service architectures and working with ITIL-based service management processes
Practical experience in transitioning/implementing complex services; knowledge of project and change management is an advantage
Solid understanding of optical network technologies (DWDM, ROADM, management systems/NMS)
Strong team player, highly autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented working style
Confident negotiator and persuader; excellent technical and commercial understanding
Excellent communication, presentation and moderation skills
Very good German language skills; proficiency in English
