About the role
- Support and training for medical staff using the Mako system. Responsibilities include operational guidance and customer coordination in northern Germany.
Responsibilities
- Training and support for physicians and OR staff before and during surgeries in the use of the Mako system in North Rhine-Westphalia / northern region
- Operating‑room instruction for clinical and technical leadership on the Mako system and its installed applications (hip and knee total endoprosthesis workflows)
- Explaining software for preparing preoperative CT data with Mako
- Assisting the physician with preoperative planning
- Creating previews of upcoming surgeries
- Planning, organizing and delivering training programs and presentations for users from the OR and radiology departments
- Coordinating newly acquired customers in collaboration with the sales team
- Providing sales support on product-specific questions at trade shows and conferences
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a medical environment (e.g., OTA specialist, medical device applications, clinical support, physiotherapy)
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to explain complex concepts quickly and clearly
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Resilience under stress and composure in high-pressure situations
- Solid organizational and planning skills and a high degree of reliability
- Valid Class B driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
- Fluent German and very good English (C1) both spoken and written
