About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the service application product line and Hempel organisation on value propositions, commercial models, pricing structures and performance targets.
- Support the development of a commercially focused product roadmap based on customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and segment strategies.
- Translate customer pain points into scalable, repeatable service application products that enhance coating performance and drive revenue growth.
- Lead cross-functional service application development initiatives with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful launch, adoption, and lifecycle management.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to align commercial goals with technical feasibility and operational readiness.
- Identify and validate new service application opportunities that strengthen Hempel’s market position and support sustainability ambitions.
- Ensure commercial viability and scalability of new service applications, including business cases, pricing logic, and go-to-market plans.
- Continuously optimize the existing portfolio to maintain competitiveness, relevance, and profitability together with the technical part of Service Application.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management, service commercialization, or solution development within Marine, Energy, Infrastructure, or other heavy industries.
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for building products that solve real customer problems.
- Ability to turn insights into actionable product strategies and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and driving alignment across functions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- A passion for creating customer value and contributing to a more sustainable industry.
- Experience with developing partnerships is a plus.
