Technical Support Engineer managing Fortinet devices and addressing client requests. Ensuring optimal configurations and troubleshooting issues in El Salvador with Fortinet systems.
Responsibilities
Monitorear y analizar alertas generadas por dispositivos Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, etc.).
Atender solicitudes e incidentes relacionados con configuraciones básicas-intermedias de firewalls Fortinet (Perfiles Web Filter, creación de usuarios VPN, políticas de seguridad, reglas de seguridad, enrutamientos etc.)
Proporcionar soluciones para clientes corporativos haciendo uso óptimo de los recursos existentes (VLAN, IPS, CPES, etc.)
Realizar tareas de diagnóstico inicial, troubleshooting básico y documentación de eventos.
Mantener actualizada la bitácora de incidentes y tickets en la herramienta de gestión definida por el cliente.
Troubleshooting con herramientas como ping, traceroute, sniffers, packet capture.
Participar en revisiones periódicas de operación con el equipo de soporte y cliente
Participar en mantenimientos programados y ventanas de cambio (RFC).
Configuración de: Políticas de seguridad (Firewall Policies), NAT (Source y Destination NAT), VPNs IPsec y SSL, Interfaces virtuales (VLANs, zonas)
Requirements
Título universitario en Técnico/Ingeniería en Computación, Telecomunicaciones o Carreras afines
Conocimientos en protocolos (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SIP).
Experiencia con herramientas de logs y reportes (FortiAnalizer).
Experiencia de herramienta de gestión centralizada (FortiManager)
Diagnóstico y resolución de problemas comunes en FortiGate
Experiencia 2 años en puestos similares mínima comprobable
