Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating a team of Health & Wellbeing Coaches
- Conducting team meetings, performance reviews, and development planning
- Monitoring performance, trends and best practice
- Liaising with other internal stakeholders
- Meeting with stakeholders and attending local events
- Delivering engaging 1:2:1 or group-based health and wellbeing interventions to a caseload of participants
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of the service stream(s) they will lead on e.g. diabetes prevention, weight management, smoking cessation, physical inactivity etc.
- Experience of managing a service/projects/stakeholder relationships/teams within a target orientated environment.
- Experience of promoting/marketing public services to stakeholder / referral partners.
- Demonstrative experience of developing productive external stakeholder relationships.
- High level of personal organisation and time management skills.
- Experience of delivering services within a quality assurance and governance framework.
- Ability to establish an effective and appropriate rapport with programme participants who need to achieve and maintain lifestyle changes (e.g. healthy weight, increased physical activity, reduction in alcohol intake).
- Willingness and flexibility to travel in order to deliver programmes across designated region.
