Responsibilities
Leading and motivating a team of Health & Wellbeing Coaches
Conducting team meetings, performance reviews, and development planning
Monitoring performance, trends and best practice
Liaising with other internal stakeholders
Meeting with stakeholders and attending local events
Delivering engaging 1:2:1 or group-based health and wellbeing interventions to a caseload of participants
Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of the service stream(s) they will lead on e.g. diabetes prevention, weight management, smoking cessation, physical inactivity etc.
Experience of managing a service/projects/stakeholder relationships/teams within a target orientated environment.
Experience of promoting/marketing public services to stakeholder / referral partners.
Demonstrative experience of developing productive external stakeholder relationships.
High level of personal organisation and time management skills.
Experience of delivering services within a quality assurance and governance framework.
Ability to establish an effective and appropriate rapport with programme participants who need to achieve and maintain lifestyle changes (e.g. healthy weight, increased physical activity, reduction in alcohol intake).
Willingness and flexibility to travel in order to deliver programmes across designated region.
