HR Business Partner supporting Shure Associates with HR policies and talent management initiatives. Engaging with employees to provide the Ultimate Associate Experience and improve workforce performance.
Responsibilities
Acts as a point of contact for Associates on HR policies, ensuring interpretations align with both company culture and regional labor nuances.
Manages requests from multiple stakeholders – often managing urgent priorities simultaneously.
Assists with the administration of talent and performance initiatives, including the communication of processes, tracking key metrics, and creating reports.
Supports HR leadership in documenting employee relations matters; assists the team in ensuring compliance with standards across regional offices.
Partners with the team to design and implement engagement initiatives that resonate with in-person, remote, or hybrid employees (e.g., virtual team-builders or events).
Participates in employment functions, including interviewing, recruiting, stay and exit interviews, etc.
Participates in HR Divisional Projects as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks such as departmental filing, scheduling, and activity coordination, and occasional backup support for administrative functions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum of 1-2 years of professional HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or Generalist
Basic experience with Human Resources Information Systems (e.g.; Oracle, iCIMS, Success Factors)
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
Ability to leverage company-authorized AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, from entry-level to leadership
High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential Associate information with total professionalism
Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks when requests come in from multiple managers simultaneously
A global mindset with an interest in learning about international labor standards and diverse workplace cultures
Must have the ability to travel between Shure’s Niles, Skokie, and Wheeling locations as scheduled
Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.
