About the role

Solution Architect at sedevo IT Consulting managing technical solutions for business and customers, ensuring alignment with strategy and standards in Leipzig. Collaborating with various teams from conception to rollout.

Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect (m/f/d) you design and oversee the implementation of technical solutions that meet both our business requirements and our customers’ needs, bridging the gap between business and technology:
You develop a clear technical vision and architecture and ensure that all solutions align with strategy, standards and best practices.
You integrate systems and applications into a cohesive overall solution and actively shape future portfolio elements and services.
You work closely with the business, development teams, operations, partners and customers — from concept through rollout.
You select appropriate technologies and platforms, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure scalability, security and maintainability.
You identify technical risks early and develop strategies to mitigate them.
You contribute new ideas, monitor technology trends and establish best practices.

Several years of professional experience in software development, system integration or IT architecture.
A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is desirable.
Solid knowledge of IT architectures, microservices, cloud-native technologies, databases and integration patterns.
Experience with patterns & anti-patterns, private and public cloud platforms.
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps practices and requirements engineering.
Project management skills and a good commercial/business understanding.
Analytical skills, problem-solving ability and strong communication — you can present complex topics clearly.
Very good German and English language skills.
