About the role
- Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect delivering utility solutions for Advanced Distribution Management Systems in Asia Pacific, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Leading technical engagements and collaboration with utility stakeholders to address energy challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solution design and customer engagement for GridOS ADMS(Advanced Distribution Management Systems) and DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems ) offerings
- Act as a trusted advisor to utility stakeholders, including distribution operations, control room, DER program, and IT/OT leaders
- Strong Commercial Acumen with experience with software sales, able to deliver to targets, express strong value propositions while understanding customers’ buying processes
- Design end to end solution architectures covering: SCADA, DMS( Distribution Management System ), OMS ( Outage Management System) , VVO, and FLISR DER monitoring, DER Control (CSIP), Forecasting, Aggregation, Optimization, and Flexibility Markets
- Integration with GIS, AMI, EMS, and enterprise systems
- Translate regional regulatory, grid interconnection, and operational requirements into practical solution designs
- Deliver executive level presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations tailored to customer maturity
- Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring solution completeness, differentiation, and feasibility
- Support proof of concepts, pilots, and customer validation activities
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to shape regional solution strategy and product direction
- Represent GE Vernova at industry events, conferences, and customer forums
- Lead with thought leadership on Future Flexible Networks and bring expertise on emerging industry trends
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Systems, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in utility distribution systems, grid operations, or control systems
- 10+ years in a customer facing role such as presales, consulting, or solution architecture
- Strong experience with ADMS, DMS, OMS, SCADA, and DERMS platforms
- Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with senior utility stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 35% across the Growth Region
