About the role

• Pre-Sales Solution Architect at FINBOURNE, collaborating with Sales Team to design solutions in financial services. Running demos, workshops, and creating custom solutions using Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Running demos and workshops for prospective clients.
• Designing future state architectures and becoming a product and technical expert on FINBOURNE platform.
• Creating bespoke demos using FINBOURNE’s software toolkits (primarily in Python and SQL).
• Creating reusable demo material for the wider Sales Team.
• Responsible for all architectural discussions with prospective clients and documenting their business requirements.
• Collaborating with Sales, Product and internal Engineering teams to design optimal solutions.
• Developing a deep understanding of FINBOURNE’s products and technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Ability to write against APIs (primarily in Python and SQL, but C#, Java or similar experience will be considered).
• Industry experience working in financial services.
• Solutions architecture experience – collecting requirements and designing solutions to technical and non-technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Comfortable presenting demos and workshops (in person and online).
• Confident in discussing financial concepts with clients at COO and CTO level.
• Experience working with a vendor (like FINBOURNE) is ideal but we are also interested in candidates with the right skillset who have experience working in Consultancies, Banks, Asset Managers and Asset Servicers.
