Sales Development Representative responsible for generating business opportunities at Evolved-Ideas, a UK software development partner. Focused on prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting sales efforts.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Research: Identify and research potential clients and target accounts using various tools and strategies.
Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via cold calling, emailing, and social selling (LinkedIn) to gauge interest.
Lead Qualification: Assess leads against predefined criteria to determine if they are a good fit for the product/service.
Meeting Booking: Schedule initial discovery calls or demos between qualified leads and Account Executives.
Nurturing: Follow up with interested prospects and maintain relationships.
CRM Management: Accurately log activities and update prospect information in the CRM system.
Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing for campaign alignment and AEs to ensure smooth handoffs.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's offerings to effectively communicate value.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a B2B SDR, or sales-focused role
Exposure to or understanding of software development services, digital products, or technology solutions
Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, including cold calling and email campaigns
Experience running creative and data-driven lead generation initiatives
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover challenges and propose solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
