About the role
- Manager leading abandoned property consulting projects ensuring compliance, identifying savings, and managing client relationships. Overseeing a team while maintaining operational excellence and pursuing revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of Consultants to perform unclaimed property reviews designed to ensure compliance
- Identifies potential savings and recovers unclaimed property assets for clients
- Maintains existing client relationships and focuses on overall administration of client compliance responsibilities
- Researches abandoned property issues
- Reviews unclaimed property reports
- Performs audit defense services
- Identifies transactional planning and ensures conformity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Creates positive team member experiences which lead to excellent client service
- Manages complex state abandoned property projects, including audit defense and asset recovery
- Develops and conducts client presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance
- Four to six years financial audit or abandoned property related experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
- Valid driver’s license required
