About the role
- Operations Supervisor overseeing outbound delivery operations for Riverstone Logistics based in Houston, TX. Responsible for managing motor carrier compliance and client communications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day delivery operations
- Monitor delivery activity as it relates to evaluation of motor carrier needs and customer service
- Lead and participate in active route monitoring daily
- Assist Outbound Manager and GM with daily carrier communications
- Ensure all clients are contacted regarding delivery timeframes, delays, etc.
- Assist with audits and ensure returns processes align with requirements
- Maintain professional working relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Process and monitor claims through client portal
- Identify and escalate process discrepancies
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
- Strong people and operations supervisory skills
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to embrace new technology
- Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred
