About the role
- District Operations Manager overseeing logistics for Riverstone Logistics. Responsible for maintaining client delivery capacity and improving operational efficiency within multiple client locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the outbound logistics of multiple client retail locations
- Responsible for maintaining client delivery capacity
- Conduct operational analyses, and audits current outbound procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations and client satisfaction
- Supervise a team comprised of Territory Managers within an assigned region
- Ensure compliance with company, client, local, state, and federal policies and regulations
- Oversee the daily outbound operations of multiple client retail locations
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization
- Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Maintain a professional appearance always, while setting an example for employees alike
- Ensure daily meetings with service providers and teams are conducted consistently
- Partner with motor carriers to facilitate compliance and delivery capacity for the client
- Advise Extra Milers on safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, and the like
- Conduct weekly onsite store audits to ensure client satisfaction with RLX deliverables
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred)
- 2-4 years of distribution, and/or supply chain operations with at least 2 years of managerial experience preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exhibit a professional demeanor when dealing with conflict
- Ability to coach and develop employees
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to the workplace and attend client meetings as necessary.
