- Develop and commission automation solutions for test stands in-house and at customers worldwide
- Clarify technical requirements in coordination with internal departments and customers
- Prepare automation concepts (control, regulation, test procedures, interfaces)
- Program test stand control systems (Beckhoff PLC and RENK’s proprietary test stand software RDDS)
- Troubleshoot software and commissioning issues using a variety of diagnostic methods
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, application)
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
- Experience programming industrial controllers (Beckhoff experience advantageous)
- Knowledge of control and drive technology
- Practical experience in electrical engineering and hydraulics
- Familiarity with industrial communication, sensors and actuators
- Experience analyzing measurement data is an advantage
