About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the Supplier Quality team, enabling continuous technical and career development.
- Develop and implement regional supplier quality roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify suppliers in need of quality system and performance improvement and lead supplier development activity.
- Lead escalations and crisis management for critical suppliers impacting North American operations.
- Champion digital quality tools and analytics for proactive supplier performance management.
- Ensure quality plans at suppliers are adequate to support business growth and key strategic initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure supplier quality activity is applied for new product development, including supplier qualification, sourcing decisions, print reviews, and PPAP.
- Prepare and present reports on supplier quality performance to senior leadership.
- Act as a key advisor to Procurement and Operations leadership on supplier quality risks and opportunities.
- Work as part of a global leadership team to develop and improve the global supplier quality program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supplier quality management, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record in global supplier development and quality systems implementation.
- Expertise in advanced problem-solving, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to influence at executive levels.
- Global supplier audit experience and familiarity with multiple manufacturing technologies.
- Functional knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes and material science.
- Accomplished change agent with strong business aptitude and analytical skills.
