About the role
- Consultant responsible for implementing SIEM tools for clients in cybersecurity. Focused on data protection, monitoring, and risk reduction efforts.
Responsibilities
- Implement SIEM tools, identify gaps, and track changes to protect client systems and networks and to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor SIEM tools and analyze alerts for potential anomalous activity in the environment to ensure proper operation and help reduce clients' exposure to cyber risks.
- Provide reports on SIEM operation and audits, such as successful and failed logins and possible anomalies, to ensure proper tool functioning and contribute to reducing clients' exposure to cyber risks.
- Define criteria for generating alerts and determine actions the tool should take in response to suspected malicious activity, identifying potential real threats to clients to reduce exposure to cyber risk.
- Map clients' security requirements and technical architectures, present and explain solutions, and produce reports to provide technical consulting.
- Prepare solution documentation and architectures for clients to help identify gaps in clients' environment monitoring.
- Create documentation and processes for troubleshooting within the area to update the team's knowledge base and for future reference.
- Participate in meetings with Redbelt's clients and prospects, presenting the solution and the team from a technical perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Defense, Technology, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience implementing SIEM tools.
- Experience troubleshooting SIEM tools.
- Experience creating connectors/log sources.
- Experience creating rules and KPIs in SIEM.
- Experience producing technical documentation for SIEM tools.
