Responsibilities
Assist the Category Team Lead in analysing sales, margin, and market data to support category strategies and performance improvements.
Prepare regular reports on KPIs, spend analysis, cost comparisons, and performance, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
Support communication with suppliers and internal teams, helping manage product information, pricing updates, and promotional activity.
Support standardisation and process improvement initiatives across all categories.
Raise purchase orders for your key suppliers and manage and monitor order progress.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the category team, helping with presentations, meetings, and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
Understanding of procurement & category management principles.
Good understanding and awareness of supplier management, sourcing process and contract basics.
Awareness of service level agreements and how they operate.
Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics setting within procurement is desirable.
