About the role
- Solution Architect leading functional and technical design within SAP S/4HANA projects. Collaborating with teams for scalable solutions in logistics and warehouse management.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional/technical solution design for one or more SAP S/4HANA domains
- Ensure alignment with the global S4 template architecture and governance
- Translate business requirements into robust solution alternatives and design decisions
- Prepare and validate functional designs, integration specifications and configuration guidelines
- Review vendor solution proposals, challenge assumptions and ensure compliance with architectural principles
- Act as design authority for module-specific areas
- Support cross-stream integration topics (FI–CO–MM–PP–EWM, Master Data Management tool, interfaces, reporting)
- Contribute to RFP/RFI evaluation from a solution perspective
- Ensure that architectural standards, naming conventions, harmonized data models and global template rules are respected
- Support test planning, cutover preparation and hypercare solution validation
- Use UML, BPMN, C4 modelling, architectural views to document solutions
- Design cross-system integrations using standard integration patterns (API, event-driven, IDoc, middleware orchestration)
- Create and validate logical data models, data flow diagrams, interface contracts
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of SAP Solution Architect or senior consulting experience
- Strong understanding of SAP data model, integration principles and best practices
- Ability to produce high-quality solution documentation
- Experience in large‑scale enterprise transformation programs or project implementations.
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
