About the role

• Project Manager/Business Process Analyst leading projects for digital payment solutions. Working in Saarbrücken or Munich with opportunities for home office and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• You support the evaluation of innovation and digitalization initiatives.
• When required, you analyze existing processes for optimization potential and develop solution concepts for business processes and products.
• You independently lead (sub-)projects ranging from implementing regulatory requirements in the card business, through the digitization of processing workflows, to the introduction or optimization of individual card products.
• You appropriately apply methods of agile and traditional project management.
• You support the creation of user stories, functional specifications, and the iterative prioritization of work packages.
• You advise subject-matter experts on content and methodology when preparing feasibility studies, business analyses, and implementation concepts.
• You assist in preparing business requirements documents, quality-assuring technical specifications, and planning and executing test and acceptance procedures.
• You prepare decision papers for management and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g., IHK Fachwirt, IHK Betriebswirt, or similar).
• Several years of professional experience in the payments market, ideally in cashless payment systems.
• Knowledge and experience with agile and traditional project management, business process analysis, and effective presentation techniques.
• Demonstrable ability to independently analyze problems, processes, and applications of new technologies.
• Excellent, negotiation-level German skills (at least C1) and fluent English skills (B2) in spoken and written form.
• A clean basic criminal record certificate and a signed internal declaration confirming orderly financial circumstances (e.g., no personal insolvency or wage garnishment).
