Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from intake through trial
  • Draft pleadings and conduct discovery
  • Negotiate settlements
  • Make frequent in-person court appearances
  • Prepare 3-Day and 30-Day Notices
  • Draft unlawful detainer complaints and responses
  • Request immediate trials
  • Ensure proper service of unlawful detainer papers
  • Assist in obtaining judgments from the court

Requirements

  • Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of California
  • Strong litigation skills
  • Deep knowledge of California landlord-tenant law
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
