About the role
- Legal Cashier managing finances at Napthens LLP, ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and handling treasury duties. Responsible for bank reconciliation, processing payments, and responding to finance queries.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily and monthly bank reconciliations across all client and office accounts.
- Process incoming and outgoing payments, including BACS, disbursements, standing orders, and international transfers.
- Manage daily banking, bills, credit notes, write-offs, and client-to-office transfers.
- Respond to finance queries promptly via the Finance Helpdesk, ensuring a high level of service.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with ad hoc treasury or finance tasks as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a legal cashier, finance, treasury, or accounts role.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to develop a strong understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules (training will be provided).
- Experience with Proclaim and/or AccessPay would be an advantage.
